Job description

The Queen's Health System has an excellent opportunity for an experienced board-certified Thoracic Surgeon to join a highly reputable surgery practice serving the largest health system in the state of Hawaii.

This role offers exposure to a broad spectrum of thoracic pathologies, requiring strong technical skills across the field of Thoracic Surgery. The practice includes significant growth in both benign and malignant esophageal disease, with robust access to robotic surgery. Surgeons will work within a setting of diverse and high-volume pathology, supported by an innovative lung program that integrates robotics and AI, and emphasizes close collaboration with interventional pulmonology. Position Details:

  • Full-time position
  • Inpatient and outpatient/clinic schedule
  • Time for urgent cases within schedule

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Compensation is between $575,600 and $600,600 per year
  • Strong statewide referrals in-place with plenty of room for growth
  • Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available
  • Federal and State loan repayment programs

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Board Certification from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery
  • Fellowship trained in Thoracic Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery - Thoracic track focusing on lung and chest procedures
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience required
