Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Kid Serenity Health Care, you will:

  • Conduct ongoing assessments to evaluate client needs and tailor treatment plans accordingly.
  • Facilitate communication with supervisors, colleagues, and family members to discuss client progress and address any concerns.
  • Organize and maintain a tentative schedule for appointments, home visits, and therapeutic observations to monitor the clientsโ€™ journey towards recovery.
  • Coordinate and perform home visits and data analysis to enrich client understanding and care.
  • Ensure effective implementation of treatment plans and continuously evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to collaboratively assess and adjust client care strategies.
  • Document monthly and quarterly progress notes detailing client advancements and areas of focus.
  • Develop training materials to enhance staff capabilities surrounding treatment plan implementation and documentation practices.
  • Serve as an advocate, providing follow-up support through additional interviews and visits to meet ongoing client needs.
  • Maintain meticulous records that provide accessible information for treatment oversight and planning.
  • Act as a liaison with the public and mental health community to support the development of best practices in mental health care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served at Kid Serenity Health Care include a diverse mix of youth and adults facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting.
  • A solid foundation in legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and applicable technologies.
Preferred Experience

Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse will be considered advantageous. Experience in training and mentoring other staff members within the clinical setting is also valued.

Compensation and Benefits
