Job description

About Us

At Prenuvo, we are on a mission to flip the paradigm from reactive "sick-care" to proactive health care. Our award-winning whole body scan is fast (under 1 hour), safe (MRI has no ionizing radiation), and non-invasive (no contrast). Our unique integrated stack of optimized hardware, software, and increasingly AI, coupled with the patient-centric experience across our domestic and global clinics, have allowed us to lead the change against "we caught it too late again".

We are hiring our first Quantitative UX Researcher to build a rigorous, evidence-based understanding of the patient journey. This role will partner closely with UX, Product, and Operations to define meaningful metrics, model lifecycle patterns, and evaluate design and workflow decisions through defensible quantitative methods. You will focus on identifying points of friction across the experience, improving follow-through and engagement, and ensuring gains are achieved without compromising long-term trust and clarity.

This role does not provide visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire and must not require employer sponsorship for a work visa (current or future).

Help reshape the world through proactive healthcare while working with cutting-edge technology and high performing teams with deep expertise - join us to make a difference in people's lives!

What You'll Do:

Understand and improve the patient experience

  • Identify and model key bottlenecks across the patient journey, including commitment, preparation, required task completion, results engagement, and return behavior.
  • Instrument and analyze drop-off points in high-stakes workflows, surfacing friction that impacts timely completion and follow-through.
  • Translate ambiguous experience challenges into clear, testable hypotheses.

Generate insights from complex data

  • Conduct exploratory and descriptive analyses to establish baselines, distributions, and patterns across patient, product, and clinical data.
  • Answer foundational questions about user behavior and system performance using raw event and operational data.
  • Develop statistical analyses and models to understand predictors of completion, engagement, and downstream outcomes.

Test and validate experience improvements

  • Design and analyze experiments to improve key workflows while balancing measurable lift with long-term trust and clarity.
  • Plan and evaluate structured usability studies to assess task success and friction in critical experiences.
  • Create, craft, and compose surveys and targeted discovery work to uncover drivers behind observed patterns.
  • Critically interrogate findings, ensuring conclusions are methodologically sound and actionable.

Make the patient experience visible

  • Build and maintain dashboards that track leading and lagging indicators across key experience touchpoints.
  • Own a monthly UX metrics reporting cadence that highlights meaningful shifts and emerging risks.
  • Identify gaps in instrumentation and partner with Engineering and Operations to improve lifecycle tracking and data integrity.

Translate insight into action

  • Quantify the impact of experience and workflow changes.
  • Partner cross-functionally to convert insight into concrete product and operational improvements.
  • Contribute to documentation, research repositories, and standards that support future growth

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in quantitative UX research, product research, behavioral science, or a related analytical role in a digital product environment.
  • Strong foundation in statistics and experimentation, with hands-on experience modeling and improving activation, completion, retention, or engagement.
  • Fluency in SQL and proficiency in Python or R, with the ability to independently analyze raw lifecycle and event-level data.
  • Experience designing and interpreting experiments in live product environments.
  • Experience extracting actionable insight from survey and NPS data, and integrating attitudinal signals with observed behavior.
  • Experience building dashboards or recurring reporting that informs product decisions.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled research or analytics workflows, and sound judgment about when automation strengthens versus weakens rigor.
  • Clear communicator who can engage technical stakeholders on methodology while translating findings into actionable product and experience implications.

Our Values

First: we are Pioneers

  • Transforming healthcare requires divergent thinking, bias for action, disciplined experimentation, and consistent grit and determination to maintain momentum. This journey is as challenging as it is rewarding.
