Your New Role...
The Senior Quantitative UX Researcher is responsible for uncovering insights about users by integrating attitudinal and behavioral data across a range of methods. This role will design and execute research that connects what users do with why they do it, helping teams make informed, evidence-based decisions.
We're looking for someone with strong direct-to-consumer product experience, deep quantitative expertise, and a growth mindset - someone who can design the right approach for the question at hand and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
Your Role Accountabilities...
  • Own UX measurement through surveys, including designing and running large-scale tracking to understand the user experience over time
  • Translate survey data into clear insights, identifying what drives user behavior and outcomes like engagement, retention, and conversion
  • Partner with product, design, and analytics teams to connect user feedback with product decisions and provide context to behavioral data
  • Synthesize insights into actionable recommendations, helping teams understand what matters most to users and where to focus
  • Prioritize and manage research in fast-moving environments, delivering directional insights that unlock decisions

Qualifications & Experience...
• 5 or more years of experience as a UX researcher or research analyst; internships or graduate-level work considered in lieu of experience.
• D2C experience researching touchpoints in the acquisition and conversion funnel.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in support of product development
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver complex messages to diverse audiences.
• Proficient in MS Suite, usability study software, and/or statistical research software.
The Nice to Haves...
• BA Human Computer Interaction, Information Science, Psychology or Social Sciences.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and natural curiosity.
• Experience working in digital news or a strong interest in news.
How We Get Things Done...
This last bit is probably the most important! Here at WBD, our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done. You can find them at www.wbd.com/guiding-principles/ along with some insights from the team on what they mean and how they show up in their day to day.
