Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Data Analyst to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $48.07 - $52.88

**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.**

The Quantitative Data Analyst helps with the interpretation, implementation, analysis, and visualization of large amounts of data within OCIO into more readable formats for customer personnel and our partners within the organization's cybersecurity environment. The data analyst utilizes various programs and methods to manipulate data to display it in a more readable and concise manner that is desired or required by the customer and its stakeholders. Such methods could include using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, charts, Microsoft PowerBI dashboards, and other analytical methods. 

Responsibilities:
  • Performs analysis on a variety of data relevant to documents, reports, and summaries to prepare for additional reports or requirements. 
  • Manages the compilation, cataloging, caching, distribution, retrieval, and archiving of data. 
  • Participates in ad-hoc data analysis projects and produces actionable requests, proposals, or events for both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Collects data from various sources and produces basic to advanced reports and charts based on client inquiries and requirements. 
  • Accurately enters required data into one or multiple databases, documents, and spreadsheets for the client for analysis and retention. 

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Minimum 5 years of data analysis experience, with some user design experience, is required; In lieu of experience, industry-recognized certifications can be substituted (i.e., 26 CompTIA Data+, CompTIA DataSys+, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft PowerPoint).
