Quantitative Data Analyst Survey Analytics
We are seeking a part-time Quantitative Data Analyst to support analysis of a large annual developer experience survey. This role will focus on cleaning survey data, automating chart generation, and producing standardized reference tables that can be used by a separate resource for manual deck creation and formatting.
Scope:
Ingest, clean, and process raw survey data, including becoming familiar with required data columns, cuts, and reference structures.
Develop efficient R scripts to automate approximately 4 7 chart types across roughly 150 data cuts.
Standardize chart outputs, including labeling and formatting, for easy use in downstream presentation development.
Generate reference tables covering directional changes, longitudinal comparisons, and benchmark comparisons.
Support ad-hoc analysis, extrapolations, and revisions based on stakeholder feedback.
Required:
Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical programming using R.
Experience automating iterative data visualization and chart generation.
Ability to clean, structure, and analyze large survey datasets.
Experience producing standardized analytical outputs and reference tables.
Familiarity with using AI tools to support or automate chart creation.
Ability to complete the primary analysis and deliverables within approximately 5 10 working days on a part-time basis.
Pluses:
Experience with benchmarking, satisfaction, or developer experience surveys.
Background supporting survey analysis for large enterprise organizations.
Python experience for supplemental scripting or automation.
Deliverables:
Standardized R/Python scripts for iterative chart generation.
Repository of correctly labeled chart images, such as PNGs.
Master reference table for benchmark and longitudinal comparisons.
