Job description

Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties assigned by the VP of Operations or Pharmacist in Charge and/or Quality Assurance Manager
  • Conduct audit related activities including but not limited to, obtaining, and analyzing data, reviewing records, supporting documentation, and completed audit work papers
  • Monitors pharmacy related processes and data for compliance and accuracy
  • Performs ongoing assessment and monitor pharmacy related areas
  • Assist with the development of training and training materials for new and existing employees
  • Work with internal teams to standardize training processes and systems
  • Assist and coordinate any QI Projects, as needed
  • Implement and maintain department objectives to ensure compliance of JCAHO accrediting
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
  • Long Term Care Pharmacy experience
  • Knowledge of the Pharmacy floor area, a plus
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Uses good judgment and independent decision-making
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Microsoft Excel; Frameworks
  • Ability to be mobile in performing job duties

Shift: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

  • 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
  • 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
