We are located in Mira Mesa but we serve clients all throughout San Diego, County. At Active Adults Program, we support adults with developmental disabilities in living, working, and thriving in their communities. We believe when our staff thrive, our clients do too.

About the Role:

We’re looking for a caring and organized Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities for our community and/or residential programs. You’ll support staff, keep things running smoothly, and make sure we’re meeting our goals—especially around providing great care and hitting our revenue targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
  • Manage schedules, coverage, and daily program needs
  • Make sure clients receive high-quality, person-centered support
  • Ensure we follow all health, safety, and licensing rules
  • Visit program sites and solve any issues that come arise
  • Train and coach staff
  • Keep accurate records (care plans, progress notes, incidents, etc.)
  • Communicate with families, case managers, and others involved in care
  • Help with hiring, onboarding, and staff evaluations
  • Be part of the on-call team for emergencies

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years working with people with developmental disabilities
  • At least 2 years in a leadership/management role
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A valid driver’s license 
  • Professional reference
  • Must be willing to commute to clients home using your personal vehicle (staff are paid mileage)

Job Details:

  • Pay: $25-26 hour
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday
  • Full-time
