Job description

Position Summary:

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing regular preventive maintenance on equipment used in a manufacturing setting of injection molding to ensure the successful operation of production.

Job Position Responsibilities:

· Performing preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, including but not limited to greasing, oiling, and wiping down machines.

· Inspecting and checking equipment for leaks.

· Assist with troubleshooting techniques and procedures with injection molding machines.

· Assist with repair procedures for injection molding machines and assembly.

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow all safety regulations.

· Any other tasks that may be necessary to meet the production schedule in a safe and efficient manner.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment.

Experience with machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.

Knowledge of injection molding machines preferred – Van Dorn knowledge a big plus.
