Job description

Title: Quality Management Coordinator

Location: Jamaica, New York

Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 35 Hours per Week

Position Overview:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Quality Management Coordinator to support hospital quality assurance and nursing audit processes. The role focuses on reviewing clinical documentation, analyzing compliance data, and preparing monthly reports for Nursing, Risk Management, and Quality Management departments.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Summarize and analyze monthly audit reports across hospital units

  • Review documentation related to mock codes, nursing assignments, and patient safety monitoring

  • Monitor compliance for hand hygiene, restraint usage, and observation protocols (Q15, 1:1, close observation)

  • Identify trends and discrepancies in clinical documentation

  • Prepare and write monthly quality and risk management reports

  • Collaborate with Nursing, Behavioral Health, Risk Management, and Quality teams

  • Support patient safety initiatives and hospital compliance programs

  • Maintain accurate records of audit findings and corrective actions

  • Assist in improving quality standards across multiple hospital units

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare quality management or related field

  • Strong analytical and documentation skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to interpret clinical data and audit findings

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in hospital quality assurance or risk management

  • Familiarity with behavioral health documentation and restraint monitoring

  • Experience working in large acute care hospital systems
