Quality Engineer – Assembly & Metal Fabrication
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes within a metal fabrication & assembly environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with production teams, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
Position Summary
The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems that ensure products meet internal standards and customer requirements within a metal fabrication manufacturing environment. This role leads quality improvement initiatives, supports production teams, drives corrective actions, and ensures compliance with ISO/IATF and customer-specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain quality standards for materials, processes, and finished products
• Review customer specifications and ensure alignment with manufacturing requirements
• Establish quality objectives and performance metrics
• Monitor product and raw material quality
• Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Conduct audits and maintain documentation
• Support APQP and customer requirements
• Promote safety and continuous improvement
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Quality
• 2–3+ years Quality Engineering experience
• ISO/IATF knowledge preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency
Work Environment
