Job description

Quality Control will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process
production, finished products, and recording the results. Excellent communication and
leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Accurately count, verify UPC, make product shipping labels, label, and prepare for shipping.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Maintains quality and accuracy of inventory by inspecting freight and products for correct
quantities and conditions and moving freight manually or with powered equipment.
• Ensure goals are met for unloading trailers by monitoring unloaders and arrival times.
• Research product overages, shortages, and discrepancies via physical inspection or system
analysis.
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
• Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance
when observed.
• Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
Shift: 2nd
Rate of pay: $21.00 plus $1.00 Shift differential
  • High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education
    • One year forklift operating experience.
    • Experience in receiving, verifying quantities, signing freight bill in a warehouse environment.
