We are currently recruiting a Quality Control Coordinator for an upcoming project in Cold Lake AB.
For candidates located outside of Cold Lake, the Quality Control Coordinator is required to be on site full-time, Monday through Friday. Accommodation details will be discussed during the interview process. The role allows for travel home on weekends.

MAIN FUNCTIONS: To work under the guidance of the Site Superintendent to ensure all installation procedures are followed.
DUTIES:
โ€ข Perform field measurements and visual inspections
โ€ข Administrate and distribute the QC program to subcontractors
โ€ข Generate daily and weekly reports


WORKING CONDITIONS:
โ€ข Work will be performed primarily on site and will require PPE.
โ€ข Extensive use of a computer and prolonged sitting.
โ€ข Lifting, pulling and rolling drawings from time to time.
โ€ข Regular communication with project management staff, site personnel, clients, consultants and vendors/subcontractors.
COMPETENCIES:
โ€ข Proficient verbal and written English.
โ€ข Working knowledge of construction methods, techniques, equipment, drawings and specifications, building materials, required standards applicable to discipline and management processes.
โ€ข Excellent computer skills including MS Office (word, excel and outlook and project)
โ€ข Strong attention to detail
โ€ข Systematic/process oriented
โ€ข Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
โ€ข Ability to represent the company and project team in a professional manner to the Owner, Architect, related project staff and the community.
โ€ข Full comprehension of and ability to interpret blueprints, contract specifications, construction legislation, and quantity takeoffs.
โ€ข Strong problem solving and analytical skills
โ€ข Ability to learn and expand knowledge base for greater performance and productivity.
โ€ข Courteous with suppliers, contractors, co-workers and site personnel.
โ€ข Punctual, meticulous and reliable.


EDUCATIONAL/EXPEREIENCEย REQUIREMENTS:
โ€ข High School Diploma
โ€ข 2+ years experience in the construction industry
