Position Details:
Heywood Hospital is seeking a collegial, energetic and forward-thinking anesthesiologist to join our highly satisfied and uniquely stable team of anesthesia professionals. Virtually unheard of in today's anesthesia world, we take great pride in our unparalleled record of ZERO turnover amongst our clinical staff, both Anesthesiologists and CRNAs, for eight consecutive years and counting! With record high case volume of ~10,000 cases/year and a 20% increase in year-over-year obstetrical volume, the future of our best-in-class anesthesia department has never looked brighter.
Opportunity Details and Highlights:
• Open to Full-time: 40hrs/week, 30hrs/week as well as Part-time: 20hrs/week
• 10 Hour weekday shifts (7am - 5pm)
• Call coverage: Negotiable
• Surgical specialties include Orthopedic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, ENT (including some Pediatric cases) and OBGYN (~350 deliveries/year)
• Practice includes large volume of regional Anesthesia
• Mix of solo cases and medical direction
• Our team is comprised of 3 Anesthesiologists and 8 CRNAs
Competitive compensation and benefit package including:
• Full-time salary from $475K to $650K depending on call obligation
• Comprehensive benefits package including 7 weeks PTO and 1 week CME

Heywood Medical Group is a non-profit physician organization affiliated with Heywood Hospital and Athol Hospital with over 70 providers specializing in primary and specialty care. Our primary care physicians focus on Pediatrics, Family Medicine, and Internal Medicine while our specialty care physicians focus on the areas of Addiction Medicine, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Infectious Disease, Obesity, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Rheumatology, and Urology.
Heywood Hospital is a state-of-the-art community hospital serving the Greater Gardner community, featuring modern imaging services, including new MRI and 64-slice CT machines. Athol Hospital is a non-profit 25 bed acute care critical access hospital serving nine communities in the North Quabbin Region, only 20 minutes from Heywood Hospital. This facility features a new stateof-the-art Medical Office Building, imaging services, 24/7 emergency room with 13 beds, and a swing bed program which transitions patients from acute care to sub-acute care in order to accommodate rehabilitation needs while recovering. Together, these organizations form Heywood Healthcare, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.
