Location: Mason, Ohio
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Summary

The RN Team Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and compliance of hospice clinical operations. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care while maintaining regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for clinical operations and patient care delivery
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations (CMS, hospice Conditions of Participation)
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines
  • Oversee staff scheduling, supervision, and performance management for clinical team members
  • Lead and support ongoing staff education and professional development programs
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) programs
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient-centered care and positive outcomes
  • Support strategic initiatives, operational goals, and census growth
  • Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team environment

Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (or eligible to obtain)
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare experience, including:
    • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
    • Experience in hospice, home health, or related healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, compliance standards, and clinical operations
  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Experience with quality assurance/performance improvement (QAPI)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in Hospice
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms
  • Hospice or palliative care certification (CHPN or equivalent)
