We are currently searching for a knowledgeable Plant and Tree Health Care Technician with a QAL to join our team.

As a Plant and Tree Health Care Technician, you will advise, manage, maintain, and provide solutions in the daily operations of our most prestigious properties, ensuring that plants thrive and flourish under our team’s dedicated care. You will also coordinate with our enthusiastic team members, ensuring that every job receives the care it deserves, that you are staying up to date on plant health trends, and that our carefully curated properties showcase our passion for excellence.

You will be responsible for the comprehensive care of all plant materials, including: fertilization, proactive pest management (releasing of beneficial insects and pesticides, as necessary), equipment maintenance (including spray and various tools), activity reporting, and a consistent commitment to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Evaluate all plant and tree materials at assigned sites regularly
  • Develop comprehensive, seasonal plant health care guidelines for each property; prioritize activities and utilize best practices
  • Deliver a wide range of proactive and timely solutions (including pest management, fertilization, trimming, and removal of invasive plants)
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained, communicate needs and requests for each property to the appropriate Account Managers or Superintendents
  • Maintain daily records of all site visits and activities
  • Communicate regularly with Account Managers to ensure proper updates with customers, ordering of supplies, and ensuring safety on properties
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Qualified Applicators License (QAL), QAC, TCIA CTSP, ISA Arborist preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, professional appearance, positive attitude, and enthusiasm for being part of a team that provides the best service on the most exquisite properties
  • Unwavering commitment to safety: at our offices, driving to and from our customers’ sites, while on-site, visiting vendors, and while operating any tools or equipment
  • Commitment to excellence in delivering quality tree and plant care for every customer, every day

  • Must pass background check, have a clean driving record, and a current CDL – will drive to client’s properties in West LA and Malibu, and our offices (located in the San Fernando Valley)
