Job description

Brayman Construction Corporation is seeking a qualified Quality Control Mechanical Engineer to join our team for the $769.9 million Montgomery Locks and Dam project, awarded by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Monaca, PA. This major initiative involves removal of the existing lock chamber and constructing a new 110-ft by 600-ft primary lock chamber at the Montgomery Locks and Dam on the Ohio River in Monaca, PA. The work will begin with in-the-wet construction for portions of the lock wall monoliths, followed by cofferdam installation and dry construction of the remaining monoliths. Deconstruction of the existing auxiliary lock chamber will start in Spring 2025, with project completion anticipated in 2030. This vital infrastructure project is part of the larger Upper Ohio Navigation Project, designed to upgrade aging lock systems and ensure safe, efficient navigation along the Ohio River.
