Summary:

Our award-winning client is seeking a Quality Control Engineer / Automotive to join their team. This role partners closely with engineering, production, and customers to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 standards, resolve quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary quality resource, reporting to the Director of Quality

  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements, and internal quality standards

  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to maintain and improve product quality

  • Lead or support investigations of customer complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective actions

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.

  • Experience in automotive quality engineering or quality control.

  • Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 standards.

  • Proficiency in GD&T and CMM inspection processes.

  • Experience with PPAP, control plans, and PFMEA.

  • Ability to perform root cause analysis using 8D and 5-Why methodologies.

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software.

  • Strong communication skills with experience in customer interaction.
