ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


Essential Functions Statement(s)

ยท Compares price lists and recommends cost savings with all major suppliers

ยท Receive orders; conducts and documents a preliminary inspection to report any immediate damages or shortages of needed items and logs items in electronic inventory database.

ยท Communicates with the suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with orders and supplies

ยท Organize orders received in the designated quarantine area.

ยท Maintains and updates a checklist of inventory areas for supply rotation and proper storage of items.

ยท Ensure daily stocking of the clinical supply room, all cabinets and other specified areas with all necessary supplies for various NDN departments and purposes.

ยท Maintain list of expiration dates of supplies to be used in the current year.

ยท Maintain item specification sheets and generate non-conformances for items that are out of compliance.

ยท Acquire and maintain Certificates of Analysis for required supplies.

ยท Ability to read, interpret and follow Standard Operating Procedures as set by the company, and guidelines set by regulatory agencies, to include but not limited to: Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN), American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA), Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO), Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) , American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

ยท Participate in the development and achievement of individual scorecards to reflect individual, departmental and company goals.

ยท Process Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders.

ยท Enter and maintain data in the Q-pulse application to include but not limited to: Corrective Action / Preventive Action (CA/PA), Supplier, Customer, and Assets Mod

ยท Maintain status and control of all Purchase Request, Purchase Orders and Receiving slips as required. Maintenance includes, but is not limited to creation, routing, receiving, scanning and filing in electronic material tracking database.

ยท Maintain clean and safe inventory stock rooms and individual work areas.

ยท Deliver all packages to NDN employees.

ยท Other duties assigned.

ยท Employees must adhere to and remain in full compliance with Nevada Donor Networkโ€™s Motor Vehicle Driving Policy as outlined in the Motor Vehicle Records and Driver Safety policy PC.334.

Requirements:



SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High school or GED
Experience: Three to seven years of experience in an inventory position in a regulated industry, maintenance of an electronic inventory management system strongly preferred.


Computer Skills: Working knowledge of accounting software. Working knowledge of inventory management software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to Word and Excel. Proficiency of Q-pulse data tracking software or equivalent.
