Roles & Responsibilities
Summary
• We need technicians to work alongside engineers to bring up new test infrastructure for Apple Vision Pro testing in Boulder, not limited to setting hardware, robotic fixtures, deploy/maintain software tools/packages on lab hosts. Additional support required for system level testing with focus on hardware software integration
Skills
Must-haves for Lab Technician
• Experience with setting up hardware equipment like robotics fixtures
• Excellent system level (hardware and software) debugging skills
• Ability to learn new technologies fast
• Adjust to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Preferred for Lab Technician
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages (Bash, Ansible)
Timezone
• Boulder, CO (MDT) location and expected to work in office and lab - 5 days a week
• Collaborate with Cupertino team
• Collaborate with remote China team as needed - 5 to 6PM MDT
Success Criteria/Definition of Done
• All defect reports are written clearly with all applicable logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc. regularly
• All experiments in the queue are performed in a timely manner
• All lab management tasks are performed in a timely manner
• Communication with the team is clear, effective and timely
• Successfully maintain and run robotic and other automated tests for hardware and software validation at the system level
• Able to regress, isolate, and report all issues found during testing
Location: Boulder,CO(Day 1 onsite/5 days in office)
Salary Range:$70,000-$100,000 Per Year
