DESCRIPTION:
This position within ACE Group assists with the design, development, test, and implementation of M&S solutions and support for customer analysis. The Apprentice M&S Engineer/Analyst will work closely with government and ACE Group engineers, developers and analysts to provide support for warfighting capability assessments and engineering requirements.
This is a part-time, temporary, hourly position designed to support ACE Group surge capacity within the context of a full time undergraduate student. Available hours will vary with customer demand. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate class and exam requirements.
Requirements
Position Description and Responsibilities Include:
  • Development of simulation enhancements
  • Use of simulation data visualization methods and analysis tools
  • Operation of simulation toolsets
  • Analysis of simulation results
  • Research of relevant combat system capabilities, characteristics and operational use
  • Technical report writing
  • Preparation and delivery of customer briefings
  • Support of customer and company engineering, management, and administrative processes
  • Participation in various Integrated Product Teams and Working Groups

Minimum Tangible Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics or other technical field
  • Ability to obtain and keep a SECRET clearance (requires U.S citizenship)
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience (workplace or academic) performing data analytics
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience (workplace or academic) applying research skills
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience (workplace or academic) coding analysis tools and output products
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience (workplace or academic) with one or more of the following: MATLAB®, C++, Python/Anaconda
  • Good technical documentation writing skills
