Job Summary
We are seeking a Systems Analyst to join our team! As a System Analyst, you will be looking at the companys current policies and procedures and seek places to improve and close efficiency gaps. You will also design new information systems for the organization, work with other departments and professionals, ensure every system the company has is secure and up to date, and troubleshoot user issues as they arise. The ideal candidate has experience with IT and systems, strong problem- and puzzle-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Review company policies, procedures, and systems, and identify room for improvement
  • Medicaid or healthcare experience with claims.
  • Suggest and implement new systems and procedures to improve efficiency and safety
  • Experience Medicaid eligibility and/or enrollment information system in an operations capacity and
    Understanding of MMIS capabilities
  • Experience in COBOL programming language.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure every system is up to date and secure
  • Experience operating healthcare Mainframe systems for payers as a technical analyst or related duties.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports for stakeholders and upper management on system performance and architecture
  • Experience with EDI transactions, including managing companion guides.
  • Troubleshoot issues as they arise

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent field desired
