As a Purchasing Agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective procurement of materials and services for our construction projects. If you have a strong background in procurement, vendor management, and negotiation, and are looking for an exciting opportunity in the residential construction industry, this position is for you.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies specifically tailored to residential construction projects, ensuring the timely availability of materials and services while achieving cost savings and maintaining quality standards.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions specifically suited for residential construction needs.
• Conduct market research and analysis specific to the residential construction industry to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new products.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to determine material and service requirements for residential projects, and ensure timely procurement and delivery to meet construction schedules.
