Job Description
As a Purchasing Assistant, you are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks that facilitate the effective operation of the purchasing department.
Overall Responsibilities:
• Accurate data entry and maintenance of products and purchase orders
• Maintain supplier notes and information, both with digital and analog records
• Run and distribute reports
• Execute internal processes and programs on a routine schedule
• Review files and other documents to obtain and collate information to respond to requests
• Perform general administrative tasks as necessary
• Provide support as needed to buyers/purchasing team
• Communicate with supplier, employees, or other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address issues
• Provide general support for senior leadership
• Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
Physical Requirements & Environment
• This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
Compensation
• Base wage: $18.00
• Medical, dental, and vision insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, Earned Time Off, and 401k retirement plan offered. Employee discount available.
