Job description

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative professional to join their operations team. This role plays a key part in balancing business priorities, optimizing workflows, and ensuring resources are aligned to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, working with large datasets, and partnering with stakeholders across multiple departments to improve efficiency and drive results. This position offers the opportunity to influence operational performance through data-driven decision-making, process improvements, and proactive planning.


Compensation: $75-$85K/yr DOE

Availability: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute purchasing activities, including creating and managing purchase orders to support demand and production requirements.
  • Partner with suppliers to ensure on time delivery, resolve issues, and maintain service level expectations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and make replenishment decisions to balance service, cost, and working capital targets.
  • Develop and maintain planning assumptions, forecasts, and system data to support business objectives.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure priorities are aligned and resources are utilized effectively.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to address challenges, resolve bottlenecks, and support ongoing business needs.
  • Evaluate processes and implement improvements that enhance visibility, consistency, and execution.
  • Support reporting and dashboard development to provide actionable insights to leadership and business partners.
  • Manage supplier relationships and help ensure service expectations are met.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Participate in initiatives that support growth, change management, and operational excellence.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in planning, operations, procurement, supply chain, business analysis, or a related function.
  • Experience working within ERP or enterprise business systems preferred; SAP IBP ideally.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with reporting and visualization tools is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and a high level of accountability.
