Van Bortel Automotive Group includes Van Bortel Subaru, Van Bortel Ford and Van Bortel Chevrolet. Kitty Van Bortel owns one of the top selling Subaru dealerships in the nation, as well as one of the most successful Ford dealerships in a multi-state area. Responsibilities
  • Greet incoming service customers
  • Treat every visitor to the dealership as our guest, regardless of dress, style or race
  • Ensure that each customer's experience meets Van Bortel Standards
  • Monitor service waiting area
  • Schedule appointments for service customers
  • Work closely with service advisors and porters to assist customers dropping off and picking up vehicles
  • Open and close rental agreements, tracking use of rental fleet
  • Process cash and credit transactions for service customers
  • Prepare service invoices for review by warranty department
  • File service invoices and daily paperwork
  • Work cooperatively with other departments and internal teams
  • Maintain a tasteful, well-groomed and professional appearance in keeping with Van Bortel Standards
  • Ensure that service areas are clutter-free
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentability of customer areas
  • Other duties as assigned
