Job description

Job Summary:
The AC Punch Out Tech is responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment in new construction residential homes following manufacturer specifications, industry codes and standards, and company requirements.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • NONE

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Installation of ductwork in residential new construction homes.
  • Installation of HVAC equipment, thermostats, grilles, piping, and bath fans in new residential construction homes.
  • Maintain quality standards on all installations and tasks.
  • Always maintain safety standards.
  • Report to the Field Supervisor of completion of daily tasks.
  • Must be willing to operate a company vehicle.
  • All other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A Valid Driver's License and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, testing equipment, and safe installation of new and replacement parts.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven to get the job done quickly and to the best of their ability.
  • Must possess hand tools and power tools to execute job duties.
  • Must complete tasks, as assigned, within the company's standard timeframe.
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
  • Physical dexterity.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience installing duct or equipment without assistance in residential homes.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 to 100 lbs. at times.
