Job description

Burkentine is growing and looking for experienced carpenters to join our dynamic and talented team! As a Punch Out Technician/Carpenter, you will put your extensive skills and experience to use to manage and effectively complete various small projects in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Review, organize, and Execute Lists and Tasks provided by the Project Manager to assist with quality control and building completion.
  • Perform Quality Control Check in new construction units to meet Burkentine Standards.
  • Track and Communicate with the project team regarding completion of tasks as well as any items or issues found during performing tasks.
  • Identify subcontractors with continued quality control issues to the project team to be addressed and coordinate directly with subcontractors to ensure completion of issues in accordance with delivery timelines.
  • Utilize hard copy (handwritten) and digital means to track, organize, and execute job properly.
  • Be able to function and work with multiple individuals on multiple project sites.
  • Participate in required inspections with local jurisdictions.
  • Liaise with homeowners/clients as necessary to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure subcontractor has corrected all deficiencies identified by project team

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Minimum of 5 years carpentry experience.
  • Must have own tools to bring to sites. (Required)
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be an insured motorist.
  • Must be able to travel to the jobsite(s) as assigned
