The location in Fort Mill, (South Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Pulp Quality Manager. This job is full-time permanent.

Overview: The Corporate Quality Excellence Team is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Pulp Quality Service Manager. This position's primary responsibilities include strengthening customer quality relationships, supporting sales-driven strategic initiatives, and fostering strong partnerships with Domtar's pulp operations. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards of product quality, consistency, and value for both our mills and global customer base. This is a full-time, permanent position reporting directly to the Senior Pulp Quality Services Manager.

Your challenges: 

  • Multi-tasking while delivering on expected goals.
  • Traveling internationally and domestically yet completing various tasks or projects
  • Contributing positively to customer experiences and sales
  • Continuously learning the Fluff and market pulp business, technology, and AI influences
  • Communicating effectively

Your skills: 

  • Expert in Fluff pulp and Absorbent Product equipment, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Knowledgeable about FDA and Hygiene regulated products
  • Previous participation in pulp customer audits and warehouse damages
  • Open and transparent team focus

Your profile:     

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or science relevant to pulp science
  • Five years of experience with Fluff pulp and end uses.
  • Strong skills in problem solving and critical thinking.
  • Excellent time management with multi-requests being resolved within specific high-pressure deadlines.
  • Proven interpersonal cross-departmental communication skills.
