INNOCEAN USA, a full-service Advertising Agency right on the beach in Huntington Beach, CA, is looking for a skilled AEM Author to join our WebOps team on a Freelance basis!
Being part of the Web Operations team, you bridge technical and business worlds, working alongside design technology digital teams.
Our team consists of AEM authors (publishers) and QA analysts who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. We work on collaborative teams to support building websites for our clients. The involvement of our teams' operations and activities are as followed:
- Web deployment, maintenance, and tuning web, mobile, tablet-based applications
- The monitoring, error isolation, escalation and testing
- Performance management, availability reporting
- Measuring the impact of changes to content, applications, networks, and infrastructure
POSITION OVERVIEW
As an AEM Author, you will be responsible for developing solutions and implementing requirements for AEM authoring. This includes executing day-to-day tasks and projects within AEM: selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and stakeholder input.
Securing deliverable assets + requirements and managing assets within the Adobe Digital Asset Manager.
Support development of new website functionality and creating experience fragments, developing workflows, providing detailed authoring documentation as well as training for peers and authors.
Work across a cross-functional digital team working alongside multiple business teams to meet the goals of the company.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for content strategy and AEM authoring executing day-to-day tasks and projects within AEM: selecting templates, components and modules, adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web pages based on brand guidelines and stakeholder input.
  • Securing deliverable assets + requirements and managing assets within the Adobe Digital Asset Manager
  • Support development of new website functionality and creating experience fragments, developing workflows, providing detailed authoring documentation as well as training for peers and authors.
  • Work across a cross-functional digital team working alongside multiple business teams to meet the goals of the company.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Enterprise CMS content authoring experience a must; AEM experience a plus. Webflow CMS experience a plus.
  • Experienced content strategist with deep knowledge of marketing website best practices
  • Proven ability to create and execute website content plans; migration experience a plus
  • Solid problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and adapt to changing project needs
  • Attention to detail; experience creating content for highly regulated industries a plus
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is a must
  • Ability to troubleshoot front-end functionality issues
  • Experience with personalization using Adobe Target is a plus
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, both in writing and verbally
  • Comfortable juggling multiple, concurrent projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
  • Rapidly adapt to new information and skills
  • Self-motivated, responsive and dedicated to driving success
  • Agile training/experience is a plus

Salary range: $70,304-$75,000. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
