This remote position allows you to provide services to clients from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexible work hours. Utilizing advanced telehealth technologies, you will engage with clients virtually, ensuring accessibility of services to those who may face barriers to in-person visits. • Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-up sessions with clients to evaluate their mental health status and treatment progress.
• Develop and implement customized therapeutic interventions based on client needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches tailored to individual circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that empower clients and teach coping mechanisms for anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and more.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing referrals to psychiatrists and other health professionals as necessary to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) to track client progress and treatment outcomes effectively.
• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in supervision and training opportunities to enhance counseling skills.

The position primarily serves a diverse client population, including adolescents and adults struggling with a range of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be directly involved in transforming the lives of those in your community, helping them navigate their challenges through compassionate care and expert guidance.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of four years of related experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong knowledge of various mental health disorders and mastery in evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Commitment to practicing cultural competence and inclusivity in therapeutic settings.
• Proven ability to manage crisis situations with effective intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other digital tools relevant to patient care.

• Experience in group therapy facilitation and workshops aimed at promoting mental wellness.
• Specialized training in trauma-informed care approaches.
• Previous work within community health systems or clinics.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
