Job description

COMPENSATION: The compensation range for this position is $85,000-$100,000
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Psychotherapy Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations for an assigned caseload of psychotherapists within our Psychotherapy team, who are placed on-site at skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across our footprint. This role is ideal for a proven operations or business leader who understands the unique demands of a healthcare or clinical services environment. A clinical license is not required for this position-we're looking for someone who can run the business side of operations for their assigned psychotherapists while our licensed clinicians focus on resident care.
What You'll Do
โ€ข Oversee daily operations of the Psychotherapy team, including staffing coverage, interviewing/hiring, scheduling, and workflow efficiency across assigned facilities
โ€ข Manage and support field-based psychotherapists and administrative staff, providing leadership, training, and performance oversight
โ€ข Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency, compliance, and quality of care
โ€ข Manage vendor relationships and team resources
โ€ข Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, documentation standards, and privacy requirements (e.g., HIPAA)
โ€ข Collaborate with clinical leadership and facility partners to align operations with care standards and program growth goals
โ€ข Handle billing, insurance, and revenue cycle oversight in coordination with finance/billing staff
โ€ข Serve as a liaison between the psychotherapy team and skilled nursing/assisted living facility staff
โ€ข Support onboarding and credentialing of new clinicians and staff from an operational standpoint
โ€ข Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement scalable systems as the team grows
Requirements
Required:
โ€ข Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, leading teams and overseeing operations
โ€ข Experience in a nursing home, assisted living, or other healthcare setting
โ€ข Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
โ€ข Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
โ€ข Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Preferred (not required):
โ€ข Familiarity with mental health, psychotherapy, or behavioral health practice operations
โ€ข Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, insurance billing, etc.)
โ€ข Located in or near Chicago, IL-this is a hybrid role combining in-person and remote work, and local candidates are preferred to accommodate on-site days
Not Required:
โ€ข A clinical license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, psychologist, etc.) is not required for this role, as it is an operations/management position, not a clinical one
