The Licensed Psychologist Manager with the Department of Human Services (DHS) plays a key role in supporting the well-being of residents at Ebensburg Center. This position offers the chance to lead a team that helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities thrive. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference every day.

Watch this video to see how you can make a difference at the Ebensburg Center.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK This position leads the psychological services program at Ebensburg Center by overseeing staff, shaping policies, and guiding high-quality services for residents. As a Licensed Psychologist Manager, you will perform the following duties: Staff Leadership: Direct the work of Psychological Services Specialists and other assigned staff, including training, scheduling, and performance review Policy Oversight: Maintain and update departmental procedures that meet all Ebensburg Center, DHS, and other regulatory standards Program Coordination: Guide professional development and integrate new practices into ongoing psychological services Interdisciplinary Support: Collaborate with facility leadership to ensure compliance and high-quality residential services Resident Services: Provide clinical consultation and participate in diagnostic and treatment planning for residents Department Accountability: Monitor implementation of treatment plans and follow up on incident management requirements Interested in learning more.

Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This will include on-call hours on weekends and evenings on a rotation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a Licensed Psychologist MH or a Psychologist (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of experience as a licensed professional psychologist in the treatment of inmates or individuals with mental illness, intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral dysfunction. Special Requirements: You must possess a current license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology or possess a current license to practice psychology as issued by another state with licensure requirements acceptable to the Board. Applicants with out of state licensure must obtain Pennsylvania licensure within one year of employment.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
