Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Psychologist in our Psychological Services Department in Provo, Utah! What You'll Do as a Psychologist

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychological and neuropsychological assessments.
  • Prepare detailed psychological reports to assist with diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical recommendations.
  • Provide outpatient therapy using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate client care.
  • Utilize assessment results to guide individualized treatment planning and monitor client progress.
  • Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with agency and professional standards.
  • Educate clients and families about assessment results, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
  • Provide clinical consultation and support to fellow providers regarding psychological testing and diagnostic clarification.
  • Stay current on best practices, ethical standards, and advancements in psychological assessment and treatment.
  • Help foster a compassionate, collaborative environment where clients receive high-quality behavioral health services.

Qualifications

  • Doctorate degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited program
  • Eligible for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Utah
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and outpatient therapy skills
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals, couples, families, and groups
  • Autism/ADOS training preferred but not required
  • Ability to provide professional clinical services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with timely documentation
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continued professional development
  • Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
