About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a growing behavioral health team. This is a primarily clinical role focused on providing high-quality psychiatric care to children and adolescents in a collaborative outpatient setting.
The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as part of the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry program.
For candidates interested in leadership, there is also an opportunity to assume a Medical Director title for the Child & Adolescent program. This leadership designation involves minimal administrative responsibilities, offers additional compensation, and is entirely optional. Candidates who prefer a purely clinical role are equally encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for children and adolescents.

  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans.

  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.

  • Collaborate with therapists, psychologists, primary care providers, and other members of the behavioral health team.

  • Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (PMHNPs/PAs) in accordance with organizational policies.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary case discussions.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

  • Fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.

  • Active (or eligible) state medical license.

  • DEA registration.

  • Experience treating children and adolescents.

  • Comfortable supervising APPs.

  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

  • Experience working in outpatient behavioral health or community mental health settings.

  • Interest in program development and clinical quality initiatives.
