K2 Group, Inc. Physical Security Assessment Specialist Operational Planning - Fort Sam Houston, TX - Full Time *This is a contingent opportunity
Physical Security Assessment Specialist K2 Group is seeking a Physical Security Assessment Specialist in support of Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Provost Marshal/Protection Support Services (PM/PSS).  IMCOM PM/PSS is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of its installations through robust protection plans in the areas of risk management, antiterrorism, physical security, and emergency management, culminating in up to 29 assessments annually.
Responsibilities
* Lead the physical security portion of Higher Headquarters Assessments (HHAs) at assigned global Army installations, executing up to 29 assessments (averaging 20) per year.
* Audit and measure installation protection programs against DoW, COCOM, Service Component Command, and IMCOM standards.
* Analyze how physical security intersects with and impacts adjacent domains, including Antiterrorism, Emergency Management, CBRNE, COOP, Cybersecurity, and Network Infrastructure.
* Generate data-driven findings, pinpoint compliance gaps, and deliver actionable recommendations to measurably improve each installation's overall protection posture.
* Draft, review, and finalize high-quality technical reports, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), and executive-level project briefings for senior leadership.
* Coordinate directly with local and enterprise-level stakeholders to ensure assessment findings are accurate, integrated, and realistic for the operational environment.Requirements
* 10-12 years experience in in the areas of security management, operations, antiterrorism and physical security system analysis.
* Experience in conducting vulnerability assessment for a wide-variety of mission critical infrastructure
* Hands-on experience executing Protection Program compliance assessments or formal inspector general/command inspections.Clearance:
