PSE&G is seeking one summer intern to work in the Gas Operations Business Development & Operational Support
Staff Intern - Engineer/Business Analyst
Potential assignments may include but are not limited to: Prepare reports (daily, monthly, annually, ad hoc). Perform general business support for Gas Operations including providing assistance to various Gas Departments in executing our business strategy. Gather information, perform analytics, and data cleanup to improve scorecard measures as well as department operations. Conduct business and process assessments. Prepare periodic presentations on performance results. Assist with special projects as necessary.
Required Skills: Major in Business, Finance, Engineering, or other related areas. Excellent Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, PowerPoint, Word ). Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have a vehicle available for off-site meetings. All candidates must have completed sophomore year prior to the start of the summer internship program. PSEG recognizes institutions of higher education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Preferred Skills:
3.0 GPA; Experience with performance measurement and analysis and research skills.
All PSEG internship roles are paid at an hourly rate, however there are no benefits associated with these positions. Candidates are expected to work 40 hours per week over the summer period for the full 10-12 week period. We are targeting: Currently enrolled students, staying in the NJ/NY/PA metro area for the duration of the internship and able to commute to the assigned work location. Housing, transportation, immigration Support will not be provided in association with these positions. As an employee of PSE&G or PSEG Long Island, you should be aware that during storm restoration efforts, you may be required to perform functions outside of your routine duties and on a schedule that may be different from normal operations.
