Description
PSCU is seeking a driven, friendly, and professional individual to join our team! We are looking for a Full-Time Teller for our Redford branch.
As a teller you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our members by handling routine tasks, such as processing payments, accepting deposits, and handling withdrawals. Tellers also respond to member requests and inquiries and help build positive member relationships by making recommendations about bank products and services.
About the Role
  • Handles transactions accurately and efficiently for members by accepting account deposits and withdrawals, verifying cash and endorsement of checks
  • Recommend products and educate members to help meet their financial goals
  • Perform routine member service requests
  • Maintain a member-centric "can-do" professional attitude
  • Make fraud prevention, security, and accuracy a top priority

Requirements
  • 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify and recognize opportunities to enhance the customer experience
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform job responsibilities independently
  • Basic computer and math skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial institution experience
  • Previous cash handling experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
