Job description

Bethesda, MD - Seeking Social Media Coordinator

Join our team as a Social Media Coordinator at MOOV Health & Wellness, where we are focused on outpacing aging through a physician-guided, personalized approach to wellness. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and growing MOOV social media presence across various platforms. If you're passionate about wellness and want to make a meaningful impact on people's lives, we'd love for you to join our team.

The Opportunity

  • Create content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content.
  • Manage social media calendars and ensure consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions to foster community engagement.
  • Establish and maintain relationships/networks of industry professionals or influencers on social media.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools.
  • Stay updated on digital marketing trends, platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices to continually enhance campaign strategies.
  • Contribute to marketing campaign measurement, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support team members in various tasks related to digital marketing initiatives.
  • Conduct research on digital marketing trends and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team and local MOOV team to align social media strategies with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members and stakeholders to support the development of marketing materials such as collateral and campaign assets.

Required Experience and Competencies

  • Minimum 1+ years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business required.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Mega Business Suite) preferred.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze social media insights and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for engaging content.
  • Ability to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with various social media platforms and their analytic tools.
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles to create visually appealing content.
