EPIC PROVISIONING ANALYST
Epic Security | Identity and Access Management | User Provisioning

Work Arrangement: Remote
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Length: Approximately six months
Anticipated End Date: February 28, 2027
Pay Rate:  $36.66 per hour

Position Overview
Our client is seeking two Epic Provisioning Analysts to join its Identity and Access Management team. This team serves as the gatekeeper for the organization’s identity management system and is responsible for creating Epic accounts, provisioning user access, and maintaining Epic security structures.
The ideal candidate has previous Epic experience, strong communication and customer service skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business partners, and end users.

Responsibilities
  • Manage user access, provisioning, deprovisioning, troubleshooting, and account maintenance.
  • Create and maintain Epic user accounts in accordance with established security policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Identity and Access Management team, end users, and business contacts.
  • Gather and clarify user access and security requirements.
  • Communicate provisioning requirements, approval processes, and expected completion timelines.
  • Complete Epic provisioning and security-related assignments.
  • Ensure required Epic training and approvals are completed before granting system access.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve routine user access issues with guidance from leadership.
  • Collaborate with Identity and Access Management team members to ensure access controls follow established security guidelines.
  • Support security initiatives while remaining current on changes to policies and procedures.
  • Identify and help implement process improvements that increase efficiency and strengthen system security.
  • Work with Epic Data Courier as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to access requests, approvals, and provisioning activities.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a related field or two years of related professional experience.
  • Previous experience supporting user access, account provisioning, identity management, or system security.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Strong initiative, flexibility, accountability, and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with technical and nontechnical users.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of direct Epic experience.
  • Epic Security Coordinator Certification.
  • Experience with Epic provisioning and security structures.
  • Working knowledge of Epic Data Courier.
  • Experience working within an Identity and Access Management environment.
