We are looking for a Senior Tax Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.


Our client is searching for a high‑caliber Senior Tax Manager to lead reporting, tax provision processes, and strategic tax planning initiatives across the organization.


This is a role for someone who wants to be more than a compliance machine, someone who wants a seat at the table, shaping tax strategy, improving processes, and elevating the overall tax function.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provisions
  • Manage tax reporting, documentation, and related financial statement disclosures
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate tax accounting and compliance
  • Support tax planning and tax strategy initiatives, including modeling and research
  • Analyze the tax impacts of business transactions and recommend solutions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance tax provisioning processes and reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws and ensure proper application in tax provision and planning
  • Provide tax leadership, guidance, and mentorship across the finance organization


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA highly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive tax experience
  • Strong understanding of corporate income tax, tax accounting, and reporting requirements
  • Experience with tax planning and modeling
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional conversations and present tax insights to leadership
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and complex deliverables
