Responsibilities

Join the Cedar Hills Hospital team as an Internal Medicine provider!

We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the quality of care delivered to their patients. The incumbent will maintain clinical excellence by completing timely assessments, detailed daily charting, and treatment plans that align with Cedar Hills Hospital’s safety protocols.  

They will coordinate comprehensive patient care through regular communication with families, referral sources, and clinical teams while promoting active recovery participation.  They may request consultations when indicated and provide psychiatric consultations when requested. 

This position will be a contracted(1099) part-time role for Weekends and Holidays. Candidates must reside in the state of Oregon to be considered for the role.

Cedar Hills Hospital:

Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed behavioral health hospital and outpatient services program that serves adults facing an acute behavioral health crisis related to issues of mental health, substance abuse and substance use disorder, as well as co-occurring disorders related to these circumstances. Our programs aim to provide lasting mental health rehabilitation through programs that re-establish a high quality of life.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school
  • Completed residency in Psychiatry
  • Board Certification, preferred
  • Licensed as a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
  • Prior experience in a hospital based psychiatric practice and outpatient psychiatric practice, preferred
  • Must maintain active status with medical staff
  • Maintain current professional license
  • Current Level One Fingerprint Card or Fingerprint application in progress. 
  • Where applicable, maintain current liability insurance
  • Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification
