Operations Manager
General Hotels Corporation is looking for an Operations Manager for the Crowne Plaza Union Station. The Operations Manager will provide operational, accounting, administrative and human resources assistance to the department leaders. This position is part of the Crowns Plaza Union Stations Executive committee and report directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct operational, safety, and brand standard training
  • Conduct employee onboarding and orientation
  • Review guest ledger, AR ledger, and deposit ledger to ensure all items are cleared in a timely manner
  • Assist with hotel accounting and payroll review and processing
  • Manage reporting and data entry functions in accordance with IHG and General Hotel Cooperation Standards
  • Property Uniform inventory management
  • Prepare and submit month-end reporting based on management company timeline
  • Manage all accounts receivable, including setting up new accounts, sending invoices, posting payments and collections calls
  • Work with the sales department to bill groups accurately and in a timely manner
  • Respond to all guest billing inquiries in a timely and accurate manner with a focus on guest service
  • File HR and accounting records (digitally and physically)
  • Answer phones respond to emails, order office supplies and complete other administrative office tasks
  • Participate in the Manager on Duty (MOD) program, covering MOD shifts as needed

  • Intermediate or better knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
