What you’ll do at North American Composites as an Operations Manager:

Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across various departments. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in operational processes.

What you can expect to do in this role as an Operations Manager:

  • Oversee and manage daily operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company policies.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Oversee multiple 3PL warehouses.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational success.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage budgets, forecast operational expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and customers to maintain strong relationships and supply chain efficiency.
  • Resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.

What we are looking for as an Operations Manager:

  • Associate’s degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing or distribution.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
