Summary
The Provider Configuration Enrollment Representative is responsible for obtaining provider profile information.
Job Description
This includes verifying provider demographic information, billing, credentialing, and other information from providers in a timely manner. Entering provider enrollment and disenrollment data and maintaining the provider database. Receive information from provider office and make appropriate changes if necessary to information such as profiles, changes to demographics etc. Ensure credentials and employees and update information when necessary. Must possess skills in use of basic office equipment, computers, printers and email.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate degree or graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program is preferred.
Previous experience in health care field organization preferred. Prior insurance billing or credentialing experience is preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office.
