Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Providence Health and Services Summary

Pediatric Occupational Therapist job at Providence Health and Services. Spokane, WA. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist plans and administers treatments for children with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities to help them develop, recover, and improve daily living skills. Working under general direction, this role involves therapeutic use of everyday activities in a patient-centered healthcare environment. The position requires appropriate licensure and certification, with preferred experience in occupational therapy and offers comprehensive benefits within a respected healthcare network.

Responsibilities

Under general direction from the Rehabilitation Services Manager, the Pediatric OT (Occupational Therapist) Clinician is responsible for planning and administering treatments for patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. OT Clinicians help these patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Required Qualifications
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
  • Washington Occupational Therapist License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
