Position Overview

Protocall Behavioral Health Services Inc. is currently seeking dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC) to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
  • Actively engage with primary care providers to identify, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, and collaborate on treatment planning with primary care providers.
  • Deliver brief, focused interventions for patients needing mental health services, ensuring to uphold the program's productivity targets for billable services.
  • Monitor patient progress and follow up to assess treatment impact, making recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Develop and implement relapse prevention plans aimed at helping patients maintain stability and prevent deterioration of mental health conditions.
  • Identify high-risk patients and create proactive plans to mitigate potential exacerbations of their conditions.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care, subject to patient consent.
  • Document patient progress diligently, maintaining updated treatment charts and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Educate patients about self-management strategies and lifestyle modifications that could enhance their recovery journey.
  • Provide insights and consultation to clinic management and colleagues regarding program outcomes and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of ethical practices and maintain adherence to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.
  • Engage in additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations and patient care initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role, you will primarily work with a diverse group of clients from various socio-economic backgrounds, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys within a community that values access to comprehensive healthcare services.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Masterโ€™s Degree in Clinical Counseling.
  • A current, valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) License.
  • In-depth knowledge of mental health assessment, treatment planning, developmental psychopathology, and therapeutic methodologies.
  • Strong ability to assess individual patient needs and coordinate appropriate care strategies effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills in establishing productive relationships with patients, families, and interprofessional teams.
  • Thorough understanding of community resources relevant to mental health.
  • Able to maintain clinical records meticulously and produce necessary reports.
Preferred Experience
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, enhancing communication with our diverse patient base.
  • Prior experience working in primary care settings or integrated health environments is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits
