Proskauer is seeking a strategic, product-minded AI Product Solutions Manager to support the end-to-end product lifecycle for selected AI-enabled solutions, from discovery and business case development through pilot, launch, adoption, governance, measurement, and continuous improvement across Business Services. This role will translate business needs into scalable AI and automation solutions that improve efficiency, quality, knowledge reuse, and service delivery across the firm's global business support platform.
This role requires strong product management discipline, cross-functional leadership, legal or professional services process fluency, and the ability to move AI solutions from discovery through pilot, launch, governance, and measurement. The Manager will partner closely with Business Services chiefs, IT, Innovation, Data, Knowledge and Change Management, external vendors, and firm leadership to drive adoption, governance, and measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
AI Portfolio Governance and Demand Intake
  • Support the development of a comprehensive AI and automation strategy across Business Services functions while coordinating with Practice of Law stakeholders where initiatives intersect with client service, attorney workflows, knowledge management, or firmwide AI governance.
  • Create and maintain a structured intake and evaluation framework for AI opportunities across departments and conduct structured assessments of business processes to identify high-value use cases for AI, automation, and workflow optimization.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, feasibility, risk, and ROI.
  • Build business cases and implementation roadmaps for AI-enabled transformation initiatives.
  • Manage AI portfolio activities by tracking initiatives, coordinating stakeholder updates, and prioritizing work based on business value, risk, and strategic alignment.

Use Case Development & Implementation
  • Partner with department leaders to design, pilot, test, validate, and scale AI-enabled tools, models, workflows, agents, automations, and integrations, including user acceptance testing and feedback.
  • Translate operational challenges into actionable AI use cases.
  • Collaborate with IT, Innovation, Data, and external vendors to implement technical solutions, leveraging existing firm-approved tools and supporting evaluation, selection, procurement input, implementation, and post-launch review of new tools where appropriate.
  • Ensure responsible AI practices are embedded into all initiatives, including governance, compliance, data security, privacy, confidentiality, privileged information, risk assessment, human review, model limitations, and ethical use standards.
  • Identify and escalate risks, blockers, policy considerations, and cross-functional dependencies to appropriate governance bodies and leadership.
  • Define business requirements, product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlogs for AI and automation initiatives.

Leadership & Governance
  • Support the Business Services Technology Subcommittee by helping leaders across the Business Services platform:
    • Promote cross-functional collaboration and share AI use cases, lessons learned, risks, and best practices.
    • Serve as a strategic advisor to Business Services chiefs and firm leadership on AI-related matters.
  • Provide post-launch product support, including user guidance, issue triage, enhancement intake, usage limitations, and escalation paths.
  • Prepare executive-ready updates, dashboards, decision materials, and recommendations for Business Services leadership and governance committees.

Change Management, Education & Adoption
  • In partnership with the Knowledge and Change Management team and the members of the Tech Sub-Committee in each department:
    • Drive AI literacy and adoption across Business Services functions and contribute to workshops and practical training sessions tailored to different functional teams.
    • Partner with department heads, process owners, and leads to embed AI into daily workflows.
    • Build a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous improvement within Business Services.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure impact, including time savings, cost reductions, error reduction, improved service levels, efficiency gains, cost savings, and service improvements.
  • Continuously monitor emerging AI technologies and industry trends relevant to professional services and law firms.
  • Recommend enhancements and new opportunities for automation and AI integration.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, AI solutions, business transformation, innovation, technology strategy, operations - preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading AI product, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of product discovery, requirements gathering, workflow design, and business processes across multiple corporate or professional services functions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex AI and technology concepts into practical, user-centered business solutions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a matrixed organization.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, executive communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience building ROI-driven business cases and tracking adoption and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with enterprise AI tools, including generative AI, workflow automation, RPA, data analytics platforms, and enterprise governance considerations; vendor evaluation and implementation experience preferred.

This position will require physical presence in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis (at least 3x per week, or more, if it becomes the policy of the Firm or as business needs require). The anticipated compensation range for this position is $175,000-$225,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
