Proskauer is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Executive Assistant to join our  Boston office, supporting attorneys within the Real Estate Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. In this role, the candidate is expected to demonstrate initiative and sound judgment, managing tasks with minimal supervision. A successful candidate will also be able to effectively prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities, ensuring that attorneys receive seamless, high-level support.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.  
  • 3-5 years of legal experience. Real Estate experience a plus. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Work independently and as well as within a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
  • Exceptional follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Discretion when dealing with confidential matters

This position will require physical presence at least 4x per week in Proskauer's offices on a regular basis. 

The anticipated compensation for this position is $60,000 - $100,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

  • Support lawyers in the Firm's Real Estate Practice Group. 
  • Accurately edit all documents, briefs, and agreements
  • Update and maintain correspondence, emails, and client documents in the Firm's document management system (iManage) 
  • Build client relationships by courteously communicating with clients
  • Complete and submit Expense Forms via Chrome River, prepare check requests, and invoices, and submit in a timely manner
  • Manage lawyer calendar appointments for client meetings and conference calls
  • Assist with time entries in DTE and liaise with the Client Operations team for partner billing matters
  • Assist with booking travel for attorney in connection with our travel vendor. 
  • Assist in day-to-day duties such as faxing, filing, copying, scanning, and coordination of messenger services
  • Work as part of a secretarial team to assist all lawyers (across practice groups) as needed, which includes comprehensive support for Head of Office and Department Chair
  • Other projects and duties as assigned
