About the Position

We are looking for a highly experienced Proposal Graphics Consultant to strengthen the visual quality and consistency of our U.S. Government proposals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a reusable library of proposal graphics, templates, layouts, icons, and visual elements, potentially using Canva, PowerPoint, and Adobe tools.
  • Translate complex technical and management concepts into clear, compelling graphics that strengthen proposal messaging.
  • Provide rapid-turn graphics support during active proposals, including last-minute reviews and revisions.
  • Establish consistent standards for layout, typography, color, iconography, imagery, and information hierarchy.
  • Help proposal teams understand why particular visual approaches work and how to use templates appropriately.
  • Review and update Dexis visual and branding guidelines as needed.
  • Review Dexis website and corporate materials and recommend changes that strengthen consistency across the company's visual identity.
  • Work collaboratively with proposal managers, writers, subject-matter experts, and senior leadership.
Qualifications 
  • Demonstrated experience developing proposal graphics for U.S. Government contractors.
  • Experience supporting large federal contractors, preferably in defense, national security, foreign affairs, intelligence, or related markets.
  • Exceptional visual judgment and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex ideas through diagrams, graphics, and information design.
  • Ability to explain and defend choices involving layout, color, typography, icons, and imagery.
  • Advanced proficiency with Canva, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Suite, or comparable design tools.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and ability to work effectively under tight proposal deadlines.
  • Ability to respond quickly to short-notice assignments and substantially overlap with U.S. Eastern Time working hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Dexis is particularly interested in designers who combine outstanding aesthetics with an understanding of how evaluators read and absorb complex government proposals.
